Only a few cruise
times are available, and we find that sailing just before sunset is one of
the best times to go out. That's one reason why we decided to
include your evening meal in the charter price.
We keep our boat at Broad Creek Marina which is located
on Marshland Road about 1 mile from the Cross Island parkway.
A 2 1/2 hour sunset cruise including food and beverage
is only $195. Please call 843-341-3311 during normal business hours for
more information. We accept Visa/ MasterCard and will ask for your credit
card number to hold the reservation.
Captain Dave began his sailing career at
the age of 8 when his Uncle Dave taught him how to sail a Sunfish at the
Outer Banks. Shortly after Dave and Jenni moved to Hilton Head, Dave
started working as a deckhand on the Stars and Stripes sailing out of
Harbour Town. The next year Dave got his Master's license (50 ton
with Sail endorsement) and served as Captain aboard the Stars and Stripes
until 2004. Since then, Captain Dave has sailed Cheers and the
Special K, two fine charter sailboats.
All cruises are subject to weather, of course, so please
consider an alternate day. Your safety and fun are paramount,
therefore the Captain’s decisions and authority are final and are
completely endorsed by Sailing The Blues, Inc.
We will not tolerate any behavior which is
offensive, or which could jeopardize the safety of the guests, crew or
vessel.
Sailing The Blues, Inc. reserves the right to cancel any
trip at any time. Causes for cancellation include but are not
limited to current or forecast unsafe weather conditions or mechanical
issues on the vessel. In the event Sailing The Blues, Inc. cancels a
trip, guests may reschedule, or may receive a full refund if any monies
were collected. Sailing The Blues, Inc. also reserves the right to
end any trip before its scheduled completion time for any reason, at the
vessel captain’s sole discretion.
